Hi list,

I'm trying to cdebootstrap a Squeeze system from a UML instance (using
an hostfs mount point) and I'm getting the following error:

D: call action: mount
D: call action: dpkg-install
D: Execute "dpkg -i --force-all
/var/cache/bootstrap/dpkg_1.15.8.10_i386.deb" in chroot
O: dpkg: unable to sync directory '/var/lib/dpkg' : Invalid argument

I've never encountered this error with lenny. (using the same environment)

Looking at the hostfs driver, it appears that the fsync operation is not
implemented for directories. Is it normal or am I missing something ?

Thanks in advance,

Antoine Nguyen
