Hello all,

Would someone mind detailing what the status and direction is of SKAS3
and SKAS4? I've mangled the latest version of SKAS3 found here:

http://www.finnie.org/software/uml/2.6.28-skas3.patch

.... such that it works for 2.6.29 (and I assume 2.6.30rc0, although
not bothered trying.) What I don't want to do is potentially waste
my time doing this if there's no need because:

* Someone else has already done it (heh!)
* SKAS3 is deprecated due to SKAS4.

Indeed, everything I have been able to lay my hands on regarding SKAS4
only mentions 2.6.24 -- I realise it was marked as experimental even
then, but has this been dropped like a stone? Should I concentrate my
efforts into looking at SKAS4 (I am a C programmer of sorts, so it's
likely I might be able to butcher something together.)

Either way, with whatever information I get back here, I will be
wanting to consolidate some of the information on the wiki about it,
since a lot of it's either sketchy or contradictory.

Kindly,

-- Thomas Adam
