Hi,

I'm bringing back to virtual life, so to speak, an already existing
real system by making a fs that UML can boot against. It boots and
works so far basically OK. There's a point I'm not clear about.

That system tries to load ipSec and in turn ipSec complains that
the /lib/modules/2.6.24.2 directory can't be found.

Of course it won't be found because that system was initially built
using 2.6.18-6-gx1. I copied it into a flat file system.

And the UML kernel was built uisng 2.6.24.2.

Is the solution to this to replace the kernel (i.e. installaing
it complete with modules) inside the fs with the same kernel that the
UML kernel was built with ?

Cheers,

Al
