I'm afraid I'll ask a simplistic question but what is that commit ... ?

I'm using Fedora 8 which is:

Linux f8-32 2.6.23.14-107.fc8 #1 SMP Mon Jan 14 21:37:30 EST 2008 i686 athlon 
i386 GNU/Linux

On the other hand I've noticed yesterday a mention of copying what
looked like a file having to do with this problem, in the compiling UML
section of the book.  I still have to try this.
