Interesting ideas with good potential for showcasing Linux. However it strikes
me that without proper management this leads to a situation where one of the
main drivers for LTSP is defeated - central management of applications for
reduced workload.

Good things:
 * roll out temporary guest servers on demand
 * server admin training via LTSP (works a lot like VMWare console)
 * disposable computing for privacy protection; eg. throw away the whole UML
server image (eg. use ramdisk or perform block randomise) when the session
ends, making forensic recovery effectively impossible.

Bad things:
 * need to keep all of the UML base images current with patches so work become
updating N distros instead of updating one
