Wierdly I was just looking at the package for the vlan support. There is no documentation on this, but scanning the source code you use the telnet interface to the switch and from there the process is menu driven. Looks like you can have both tagged and untagged. However, there is a comment in the readme which says this (as well as other things) has only been partially implemented.
