Two weeks after, I upgraded ("testing" is a moving target) with
"aptitude update && aptitude dist-upgrade" and... the problem has
disappeared.
Apache now works fine, while I changed nothing in the UML
setup. Strange. But thanks for all those who searched how to help me.
