Greetings: It appears that a COW file and its backing file are not portable... I.e., if I move a pair from one directory to another, the COW file no longer works. When I examine the boot messages when such a failure occurs, there is an indication (driven by the COW file) that the path name to the backing root file system is based on the original context. I.e., the COW file remembers the old absolute path.
Is there any way to work around this?
