Hi, Just a thought. Check that you have package glibc-devel installed in addition to the normal glibc (i.e. run 'rpm -q glibc-devel' and it should return you the package version - 2.4-11 on my FC5). If it isn't, install it. Otherwise, you could try reinstalling it.
