Hi UML people

I'm trying to run a uml kernel v 2.6.17.1 on my laptop.

The same kernel is working perfectly well on 2.6.12 host machine.

My laptop is a 2.6.16-2 machine.

When I turn SKAS mode on the kernel fails:

mapping mmap stub failed, errno = 12
Kernel panic - not syncing: start_userspace : expected SIGSTOP, got status =
256

Yet it works perfectly well on my other (2.6.12) machine.

I tried turning SKAS off and just having TT but that doesn't even
compile:

  arch/um/sys-i386/built-in.o: In function `__setup_host_supports_tls':
  arch/um/sys-i386/tls.c:366: undefined reference to `check_host_supports_tls'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    KSYM .tmp_kallsyms1.S
  nm: '.tmp_vmlinux1': No such file
  No valid symbol.
  make: *** [.tmp_kallsyms1.S] Error 1

Can anyone give me a clue?
