I am getting the famous segmentation fault problem (with
dig, host, bind, etc). However, I have no /lib/tls under
either the guest or the host systems. (I have deleted every
file that has tls in the name on the guest even, to no
effect). I get this problem on both an Opteron 165 and a 2x
Dual core Opteron 265 box. Both boxes' memory test good
with memtest overnight.

I am running Ubuntu as both a guest and a host. Dapper
drake in both cases. It also seg faults under breezy badger
on the guest. I have tried various versions of 2.6 host and
guest kernels. I am getting desperate here.

I am guessing that it is something to do with my host
kernel, since I am getting the problem with prebuilt guest
kernels and root_fs. Any ideas? Does anyone have a known
good .deb of a 64 bit host kernel? Perhaps the kernels I am
building are wrong somehow. Perhaps I am getting the wrong
patches? I got the 8.2 skas patch from blaisorblade, but it
made absolutely no difference.
