Hi, I've noticed a strange time related issue with a new UML guest image I've created (Based on Ubuntu Dapper).
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.cpan/build/Compress-Zlib-1.42# touch Makefile && date && stat Makefile Sun Aug 6 19:42:09 BST 2006 File: `Makefile' Size: 25782 Blocks: 64 IO Block: 4096 regular file Device: 6200h/25088d Inode: 508004 Links: 1 Access: (0644/-rw-r--r--) Uid: ( 0/ root) Gid: ( 0/ root) Access: 2006-08-06 19:47:42.000000000 +0100 Modify: 2006-08-06 19:47:42.000000000 +0100 Change: 2006-08-06 19:47:42.000000000 +0100 The stat reports that the newly touched file is created about 5 minutes ahead of the currently set time. I have a Debian Sarge guest image running on the box that doesn't seem to have this problem (running with the same guest Kernel). It's causing me problems due to make warnings about clock skew. Has anybody seen this before or suggest where I can start to look for fixes ? Thanks, Rob ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
