If you are seeing this problem, then you already have something similar
to CONFIG_VMSPLIT_2G on the host (apparently a 2.75/1.25 rather than a
2/2 split).
Just enable CONFIG_HOST_2G_2G in UML, and make sure it's a recent UML
(for mainline, this means after May 2, which is when CONFIG_HOST_2G_2G
was fixed for skas0).
Hi.
This is what my Debian host kernel has
(2.6.16-1-686-smp).
CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G=y
# CONFIG_HIGHMEM64G is not set
# CONFIG_VMSPLIT_3G is not set
CONFIG_VMSPLIT_3G_OPT=y
# CONFIG_VMSPLIT_2G is not set
# CONFIG_VMSPLIT_1G is not set
CONFIG_PAGE_OFFSET=0xB0000000
CONFIG_HIGHMEM=y
I guess I got hit by the B0000000 thing [1] :(
UML:
CONFIG_MODE_TT=y
CONFIG_HOST_2G_2G=y
CONFIG_KERNEL_HALF_GIGS=1
CONFIG_MODE_SKAS=y
[1] http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=366915
Where can I read more about this?
I'm a little confused.
Regards,
Nelson.-
