Another nice tool for playing with these things is openvpn. It's a very
flexible yet simple (if you want it to be) tunnelling tool. If you
simply want to experiment with different routing setups and network
topologies, openvpn will let you connect arbitrary tap devices (in the
guest) to other machines, real or uml.
