I think this is not a good idea - you'd better work on the Wiki together with other people. http://www.linux-mm.org/, first sentence in the page: "I never had time to keep the old Linux-MM website updated, so I have converted it all to a wiki." I.e., I propose _moving_ the documentation altogether to the Wiki. For what I usually see, most sites keep site structure (news + downloads + whatever else) on conventional static pages and docs on the wiki. This would also concentrate more people on the wiki and move nearer to its critical mass, where there are enough users to make it really up-to-date and informative. > On a related issue, I'm staring at the wiki right now thinking about how > to better use it. Additionally, about "what newbies need", I think they're in desperate need of very short "tutorials", detailing the common case and linking to the full descriptions. To use networking you don't need to choose between 6 different transports with thorough description of them; that's needed, but the newbie needs an introduction. -- Inform me of my mistakes, so I can keep imitating Homer Simpson's "Doh!".
