There was no test about that reported on the MLs or to my knowledge. However, I guess that: a) if you use just SKAS0, it should just work as for any program. If hibernate has no bug with normal programs it will suspend UML. b) instead, if you use SKAS3, as you say you do, it's unlikely that the UMLs will suspend happily without adding some code to cope with the situation. c) but with recent UMLs, you can pass "noprocmm", getting an hybrid SKAS3/SKAS0; it WorksForMe (tm) well and it should work as well as SKAS0 for suspending. A project for a standalone "suspend UML" (i.e. suspend only the UML itself) has begun and produced a proof-of-concept, but not usable for production. -- Inform me of my mistakes, so I can keep imitating Homer Simpson's "Doh!".
