I just looked at a similar case (same error message on 2.6.15.4
(IIRC)) - it was fixed by the TLS patches.  With my current patchset,
backing out to no-skas-debug (avoiding cow-odirect, which makes UML
dislike non 4K-blocksize filesystems) ahould boot that filesystem.
