DevFS has disappeared starting from 2.6.13/14 IIRC. The problem is the root_fs. You must update its content to use non-DevFS names in /etc/inittab and /etc/fstab, possibly /etc/securetty (or such) and you must create ubd nodes in /dev (normal names are /dev/ubda - /dev/ubdh). -- Inform me of my mistakes, so I can keep imitating Homer Simpson's "Doh!".
