SYSEMU was merged in mainline, starting from 2.6.14-rc1. I don't know what 
you're talking about exactly, but if you talk about the SKAS bug on SMP 
hosts, discussed about 1/2 months ago, that's still undebugged, and I got no 
news about it. And it's still SMP-only.

Plus, I think (or at least, I hope) it doesn't relate to SYSEMU.

The old problems with strace in the guest were (IIRC) fixed since long time, 
thanks mainly to Bodo Stroesser.
