Yep, that seems to work, as has the advantage of working with
downloadable UML kernels (the ones off of
http://www.stearns.org/uml/) whereas I can't get SLIRP to work with
any but the ones I've made myself.

I'm trying to write an easy how-to, you see, so downloadable kernels
== good.
