RH 9 I think not, but I think the normal one should apply on Fedora kernels 
(based on experience from some users, I never tried that - but more than once 
people said: "please do this easy change so it works for us", and I did it, 
and it's included since -V8 of the patch).

Nothing different than older releases. Apply the patch as usual with patch 
-p1, reconfigure the kernel and make sure that CONFIG_PROC_MM is set to Y.
