Will I be able to debug LKM of version 2.4 and 2.6 as
my guest kernel is 2.6.

I have got the executable linux and when I try to
launch it via following command
$linux

The following error comes. It seems that UML is not
able to find the filesystem where it needs to be
loaded
VFS: Cannot open root device "98:0" or
unknown-block(98,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root
fs on unknown-block(98,0)

If I try to launch linux in debug version, by using
linux debug command, the new xterm gets launched but
UML doesnot launch gdb in this new xterm.
The new xterm shows :
Can't execvp port-helper: No such file or directory

For debugging kernel modules, I am following steps
mentioned in an article "Debugging Kernel Modules with
User Mode Linux" By David Frascone on internet.

Thanks & Regards
Dinesh
