Hello, Can anyone point me towards info on debugging UML guests using GDB. I read somewhere online that if you compile UML with debugging enabled, that you can get a debugging session in an xterm. In the meantime I'm going to work on familiarizing myself with GDB in general, as i'm fairly new to it.
The system I'm running my UML's on does not have xwindows. Is there a way to redirect the debugging to a telnet port using the port channel? Also, if the only way to debug it is from the outside using GDB, how do I decide which process to attach to, since the one i'm using launches Relevant kernel versions: Host: 2.6.11.4-skas3-v9-pre1 Guest: 2.6.9-bs7 gcc version 3.3.5 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.5-r1, ssp-3.3.2-3, pie-8.7.7.1) Any help would be appreciated. -- Jonathan S.
