Hello,
I've launch with success UML on my Debian.
Now, I would like set network on it.
I use UML kernel of user-mode-linux Debian package. It's version is 2.4.26.
I launch UML like this : linux eth0=tuntap,,,192.168.1.200 devfs=mount
In uml console I do :
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ su Password: uml1:/home/foo# ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.201 up read_output - read of data failed, err = -49 SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not permitted eration not permitted read_output - read of data failed, err = -49 SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not permitted uml1:/home/foo# uname -a Linux uml1 2.4.26-3um #2 Wed Sep 8 18:07:31 PDT 2004 i686 unknown uml1:/home/foo#
Why this error ?
