I could have swore there was a .config but I just checked and I guess I was wrong.

One other thing I should clarify about my situation. Even though I'm sure it would behave better to use a newer version of the 2.4 kernel, I'd like to use a kernel that is as close to the original one that ships with RH8 as possible, since I'm using the guest host to test an application whose target platform is RH8. Forgive my ignorance, but is there a way I can retrieve the kernel from the RH8 installation CDs? If not, is there a way I can take it from an actual installation of RH8?


Furthermore, does anyone know how I can find what the kernel version and compilation flags are for a default RH8 installation?
