With my past experience in cross platform
android app
development I have found that its not possible to replace native for all
the features it provides. In cross platform there comes various features during
development where we have to create plugin and call native code.

So if the plugin is created then code has to be done for both iPhone and
Android.
In regards to quality of the app the loading of pages is more like webpage
which loads contents or elements at different instance. where as in Mobile apps
developed in native such quality issues will never come. Many times it has been
found that the screen transitions are so poor in cross platform that we have to
make big compromise to let it go as fixing such issues takes lot of time.

There is also limitations to animation for screen transitions when it comes to
cross platform development. When it comes to client-server architecture it has
been reported that cross platform web service calls are not secure as compared
to native. We have not experienced any such issue as of yet so we don't have
any concrete proof to support this.

With enhancement in the app there is possibility to get limitation with certain
implementations in cross platform but this will never happen in native.

But with all the details mentioned above I would suggest to go for native
instead of cross platform.
