I used the dev tools, the "app-orange" was appended to the div. However, when I checked the sources of dev tools under VAADIN/themes folder, the "orange" folder that I'm expecting is not there, maybe that's why the css style does not reflect. I already added a VAADIN/themes/orange/styles.css under the src/main/resources of my module.
