Hi,

For a JCR cluster setup it can be simpler to have everything in the Database, 
since setting up a shared DB is generally easier than a shared FS. Also for 
development it can be convenient to have everything in a DB that can just be 
copied to create new instances. In most other scenarios you should prefer the 
FileSystem Datastore...
