My guess is that info.magnolia.ui.vaadin.tabsheet.MagnoliaTabSheet (which internally uses an inline implementation of MagnoliaTabSheetServerRpc) gets a null Connector. However why that is null only in that pre-production instance remains a mystery. Sorry for not being of much help here. Hopefully someone else has more insight on this.
