Hi Roland,

Technically definitely possible. I haven't done it, but I see no reason why it 
should not work. 

Some points to watch for:
- some workspaces (eg imaging, mgnlSystem) should not be clustered
- activation normally clears the caches, I think you would need a new mechanism 
(observation-based?) on the second node to clear the cache
- you will need a sophisticated redundant database and filesystem 
configuration, otherwise the JCR repo becomes a single point of failure for 
both public nodes
- startup (installer) will be a problem, you have to ensure only one of the 
nodes initializes the workspaces. I think this will mean down-time for the 
setup during installs, since you will have to shut down all the other nodes 
while one of them does the install.

As for if it is allowed or not that would be a question for magnolia sales, I 
don't know. If you're just running CE, it is GPL, so I don't see why not. If 
you're a magnolia partner/EE customer I believe there are restrictions.

Should you try this out, I would be interested to find out how it went for you.
