Hi Francisco, You should be able to configure ACLs in the normal way for the DAM workspace, just the same way you configure it in the website workspace (pages).
So if it is not working you should check the roles/groups for the users in question, perhaps there are some duplicate/conflicting ACLs assigned? For DAM content there is another point to remember: if you work with imaging (variations) you need to configure similar rules for the imaging workspace as for the DAM workspace, otherwise users who don't have permission to access the images themselves might be able to access the cached variations that were generated by another user (who had permissions to access the original)...
