Hi, the problem with 404 is caused by wrong url to your solr server. You have set URL: "http://localhost:8983/solr";, but it should be "http://localhost:8983/solr/<name of solr core>". You can set URL to SOLR server here: "/modules/solr-search-provider/config/solrConfig@baseURL"
