I did try to configure the apiBasePath as in the link you provided before. However, it seemed more wrong because I was building a custom bundle and there was no magnoliaAuthor instance. The result, I still cannot launch the rest tools correctly. I can also open http://localhost:8080/.rest and a login page shows up (even though I cannot login using superuser or any other account), so I guess that the default apiBasePath of the rest tools in custom bundle i.e. http://localhost:8080/.rest is already correct. Please kindly let me know if you know another solution to my problem.
