After seeing the good news of https://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/MGNLUI-3215 being part of the 5.3.8 release, I played around with changing the order of Pages and Components in the dropdowns.
With components adding the property sortOptions in the config, with value false, they no longer get presented alphabetically, but appear in similar order as the listing in the configuration for available components, nice! But with pages it works a bit different. After adding the sortOptions property to /modules/pages/dialogs/createPage/form/tabs/tabPage/fields/template and setting it to false, the pages are no longer in alphabetic order. But changing the order of the pages in config at the availability node, or directly in the /modules/multisite/config/sites/default/templates/availability/templates doesn't reflect this order in the dropdown. I can't find out what is used to determine the order when the sortOptions property is set to false. How can I influence the order of available pages? Am I missing something?
