Hi Simon Make sure that: - the template has the property "visible" with the value "true" - the page template definition should below the node /modules/<your-module>/templates/pages (if you forgot "pages" ... it might not be available).
By the way ... if your new to Magnolia ... you probably rather want to try out the latest version of "Hello Magnolia" with Magnolia 5.4. => see https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS54/Hello+Magnolia It is stlil mentioned as beta there ... however, 5.4 final will be released these days.
