Hi Michael- Thanks for your questions: -The agency will build the site and the CMS (or we may seek another party to work with us on the CMS portion) -We will be handling ongoing maintenance after the new site/CMS is built -We do have some inhouse java programmers, however... it's getting harder and harder to find talent -The CMS will be integrated with our association management system (data calls) which is a java based CRM -We do want the flexibility to evolve... so we won't get all we want out of the gate, but we do see ourselves adding other pieces onto our site as well as integrating other 3rd party software (example Career Center)
Trying to look at this logically for our "now" as well as where we want to be in the future. We need flexibility. We need to be more agile and not have to rely on everything being an IT project.
