Hello Terry, RE the icons, make sure you are using the correct version of command line tools:
1. Open Xcode 9.4.1 2. Go to Xcode's menubar : Xcode -> Preferences -> Locations -> Command Line Tools and choose "9.4.1" Hope this helps.
