ImageStatistics_v100 is a very fast computation of the color-values distribution of an image for each of the R/G/B-channels and the 'mean channel' (= grayscaled image).
You get the raw data and select for the display the number of bins (one of 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256) for the values range 0-255.
