Thanks much Bob. There is a definite adjustment being made in budget on this. Throwing money at a system that will "almost" work would be a very bad thing. I've been researching 10g ethernet, prices (for used cards, as well as a couple new) are coming down which is nice, but costs are still relatively high for us poor folk out here in the middle of nowhere. I think between you, and the reading and youtubing I've been doing i'm much closer to understanding enough to help them decide.
