I can't test this on mobile right now, but I _think_ you can set up a send loop in the background checking every 40 millisec or so and to check if there is a touch. If there is, adjust the rect of the browser widget to allow a header bar to show with your control. As a widget on mobile, the rect is whatever you set it to right?
A feature request might be to implement browserclick so that it works with the widget. If you want to go the iframe way you might also look here: https://developers.google.com/youtube/iframe_api_reference#Getting_Started and adjust things so that you can register javascript handlers with lc.
