Hello Charles, as far as I have seen it, matchChunk and matchText only return true or false and not an offset or position Am I wrong? Tiemo

I could be wrong, but I don't believe they support wildcards. The matchChunk function supports using PCRE regular expressions and can return the position of substrings that are matched. You might be able to use it to achieve what you want.
