OSX 10.10.5 LC 7.1.1 launch "/Users/kclan/Documents/test.html" with "/Applications/Firefox.app"
launch "/Users/kclan/Documents/test.html" with "/Applications/Safari.app" launch "/Users/kclan/Documents/test.html" with "/Applications/Google Chrome.app" All resulted in the file opening successfully in the appropriate application with: file:///Users/kclan/Documents/test.html in the URL address. If I tested a file with a space in the name this was automatically converted to %20 If I: launch document "/Users/kclan/Documents/test.html" with Chrome as my default browser Chrome started but the file did not open and the URL was garbled: file:///.file/id=324346.234545 Firefox and Safari behaved correctly.
