Dear List Members, We are pleased to announce the release of LiveCode 6.7.8 Stable and 7.1.1 Stable. By "Stable", we mean that no reported regressions have been introduced in 6.7.8 / 7.1.1, compared to the previous Stable release.
6.7.8 Stable contains one more bug fix than 6.7.8 RC 4: fix for the bug 16495 (see Help > Release Notes for more information). 7.1.1 Stable Stable is a promotion of 7.1.1 RC 4, so no change between the two versions, but the build number and the status. Important Note: 7.1.1 RC 1 introduced bug 16428 - a crash on startup on Android. This bug seems to affect specific devices (Sony Xperia P LT22i) and we could not reproduce this behaviour using our android test devices. Moreover, this bug seems to affect *only* LiveCode 7.1.1 RC-X versions, since it is not present in LiveCode 8. If anyone else is encountering this bug, please let us know, since we have not been able to track it down. *Getting the Release* To get the release please download the installer directly at: http://downloads.livecode.com If you reported a bug in BugZilla, you can check whether it will be fixed by having a look at its status. Bugs reported against LiveCode 6.7 or LiveCode 7.x will be fixed in the next release, if the status is AWAITING_BUILD.
