You know what would be really useful for this is the old Hypercard indexing 
engine! ;-)

Seriously though, splitting to an array does not help as there is currently no 
way to search the elements of an array. Since repeat for each line does a kind 
of line indexing in memory, it should be much faster if you check for each 
thing being searched for in a single pass.
