A few years ago I proposed to my congressman that he introduce a bill mandating jail time for any LiveCode scripter who writes dev tools with frontScripts that don't pass system messages.

Oddly, the proposal was not taken seriously.

So it's up to us to enforce this voluntarily.

Thankfully it's just a single line of code, so we rarely see felony offenders.
