One man's "awkward" is another man's "context-aware".

When looking at your stack, Cmd-F brings up a search UI relevant for your stack. And when looking at a script, Cmd-F brings up a search UI relevant to the script.

Maybe an alternative might be to have one search window with two modes, stack or script, and each mode is default depending on the context but still allows you to switch within the window if you want.

If this idea appeals you're welcome to submit it to the request queue.

For myself, having context-aware search hasn't bothered me.
