Hi Al, sorry to chime in late. I was on the road without any iNet access. The last iteration of the script including numToByte and setting the case sensitive to true indeed does work extracting the thumbnail image. And it is incredibly fast. :-) I still have troubles to see if there is no thumbnail in the image though. Need tto dig into that.
