Interesting. Seems to be platform-dependent.
It works on linux with LC 5.5.4.
And not on Snow Leopard with LC 5.5.3.
Don't know about Windows.

in new stack script:

on mouseEnter
  put "mouseEnter!" & cr after msg
end mouseEnter
