Just learned the above trick to create a copy of a control from a recent thread.
Found out today that there is a difference between copy/paste and option-drag. If you copy/paste a control in a group, the copy is not part of the group, but if you option-drag it, the copy remains in the group. The Edit menu Duplicate and Replicate commands also leave the copies in the group.
