Hi Charles,
I don't know if it makes a difference, but I have the PDF file in a folder "myData" which I set as the default folder when I start up my app. So LC goes to that default folder to launch the document and uses the default Windows program to do so.

I tried that script earlier (without the script for Ok button) before I posted a message for help. It did not work. In the standalone settings, I added the PDF Manual as a file to my settings. I will go back and see why it did not work.
